Inventory photos, item details, and related data you create stay on your device or in your personal iCloud account when you enable sync. The only information utilized will be contact information provided by you through our support site, expressly for use in providing assistance to you and never provided to any third parties.

Inventory photos, item details, and related data you create stay on your device or in your personal iCloud account when you enable sync. When you use Apple Intelligence, photo analysis runs on-device on supported hardware. If you choose OpenAI analysis, your photos are sent to OpenAI using an API key you provide — see our OpenAI Setup guide.
